Epidermal Genetic Information Retrieval has been shown to be a valuable tool in correlating molecular changes in diseased skin with successful regimens in the treatment of skin disorders. The technique is also being studied for its potential in diagnosing and monitoring conditions that can be traced through molecular changes in the skin.
